Big Squash Dreamers' Iftar

​March and April have been a special time for the girls at Squash Dreamers because it was once again Ramadan. During Ramadan, the girls observe fasting from dawn to sunset, which can be a challenging experience. However, it is also a rewarding time spiritually.
 
Despite the fasting, the squash sessions kept running as usual, and the girls continued to give their all. To celebrate this special time of the year, Squash Dreamers hosted a big iftar for the girls, volunteers, and staff. Iftar is the daily breaking of the fast together after sunset.
 
In addition to the food, we also prepared several activities for the girls. This included an art therapy session with Miss Aya, where they made Ramadan moons together. Freya, one of our volunteers, organized an egg hunt, and Ahmad and Ra'ad led a sporty frisbee session.
 
We want to give a big thank you to everyone who was involved in creating an amazing evening for our girls. Ramadan is a time for giving, and we are grateful for the support and kindness of our community.
